WWE Night of Champions 2015- 3 perfect surprises

Jericho isn’t impressed

The Cosmic KingNight of Champions sure did look like one of the better PPVs to grace the company with the terrific match card and historic moments to play out with. And for the most part the PPV lived upto that hype. There were many incredible moments and most of them crowning moments for new champions. There were great matches and there some great storylines that unravelled over the 3+ hours of the entire show. And greatly enough, there were some surprises in store. Here are the 3 perfect surprises from this year’s edition of Night of Champions straight from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

#3 Not Enough

Jericho isn’t impressed

Chris Jericho was long rumored to be the third member for the Shield to face the Wyatt Family. Well, the past week rumors had made it clear again and again that Jericho is the third partner and well, kayfabe wise, Ambrose made the call but all of that did not work as the three of them were unable to overcome the raw power of the Wyatts.

This was great for the fact that the Wyatt family now looks stronger than ever. And Jericho walked out on his partners that means Reigns and Ambrose need a new partner.

#2 Rollins Is A Marked Man

Kane is no longer part of the Authority

Seth Rollins defeated Sting clean. Clean. A heel defeated a legend clean in the ring. He fought 2 matches. And not even a break in between. And then when he won, he had Sheamus lurking to cash in his contract.

At this point you had to feel great just merely for the fact that the heel has made a lot of enemies and all of that was coming at him one after the other and then Kane returned as the demon and chokeslammed him. This was all thoroughly entertaining.

#1 All hail the Cosmic Wasteland

A potentially great stabl

WWE did a smart thing and hopefully this will continue. Stardust and The Ascension who have recently formed the stable called the Cosmic Wasteland won their match against Neville and the Lucha Dragons. What was great was to watch this new stable in motion. They look other worldly- straight out of another universe altogether and that is what contributes to their possible larger than life persona.

The vigour with which Cody Rhodes has delved into his gimmick is glorious to watch and that is exactly what should rewarded moving forward.
