Early return expected

Good news for Undertaker fansThe success of Royal Rumble has caused some huge tides on the internet.A debuting AJ Styles was the protagonist for most of the headlines, but a string of other incidents took centre stage as well in the past week. This included huge rumors regarding the future of Undertaker and the involvement of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania. The future of NXT stars came under the spotlight as well as a surprise return from John Cena could well be on the cards. We are going to dig deep into all these major rumors in this latest edition of top WWE rumors of the week and their analysis.

#5 John Cena to have an early return

Early return expected

John Cena is known for some miraculous recoveries, and we might get to see the same once more as Cena could make an early return in February.

Initially, Cena was expected to miss out WrestleMania but now that he is hitting the gym and working out, the internet is pointing out to a surprise comeback from the Cenation leader.

Elsewhere, there is no news on when Tyson Kidd will make his wrestling debut as he is yet to fully recover from the injury. As for Cesaro, he is still going to be out of action for a minimum of six months. With the injuries piling up, WWE might resort to calling up names from the NXT roster to compensate.

#4 WWE high on former UFC fighter

He certainly has the charisma

WWE’s interest in Evolve all of a sudden had been puzzling the fans big time and apparently, the internet found an answer to this puzzle last week.

According to the speculations, WWE is high on former UFC fighter Matthew Riddle, who is currently working dates in Evolve. After an 8-3 record in his MMA career, Riddle signed with WWNLive to work for the Evolve event.

Later, it was revealed that he had a try-out with WWE which helped him to get bookings for Evolve. The rumors suggest that WWE is looking to make him a big star in the main roster after he spends some time down in NXT.

He had earlier won Evolve’s style battle tournament and announced his arrival on the scene.

#3 Future of Austin Aries and NXT

The main roster might miss him

The WWE fans were super excited when they witnessed the debut of Austin Aries in the WWE and naturally, high expectations were attached to the ‘Greatest in the World’.

Everyone started making up dream matches involving him in the main roster, but sadly, Austin might not see the main roster. According to the rumors, he was signed exclusively for NXT and that is where he will stay for the long run.

The motive behind WWE’s decision to do so is not yet clear, however, the fans will not be impressed with the same. In the meantime, Finn Balor is not expected to get a call-up anytime soon.

He will continue to stay in NXT as the face of the brand.

#2 The involvement of Rock

Rock will be in the corner Roman Reigns

The appearance of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WWE WrestleMania 32 was confirmed and he is all set to be in the corner of Roman Reigns for the event.

The Samoan Superman is expected to win his triple threat bout at Fast Lane and go ahead to face Triple H at the WrestleMania for the title. The pay-per-view will act as a career defining moment for Roman Reigns as it did not happen the last time around.

While Rock will be at the corner of Roman Reigns, Vince McMahon is expected to be in the corner of Triple H. This is bound to add more drama to the whole match.

#1 Good news for Undertaker fans

Undertaker still has gas left in him

From the looks of it, Undertaker is all set to face Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 32. The Wyatt Family member is apparently heavily backed by WWE and he might get to face Big Show at Fast Lane before heading off to face Taker at Mania.

Now, Braun Strowman being handpicked as the opponent for Undertaker is not something that everyone will appreciate and it is certainly not the good news that we are mentioning here.

The good news is that WrestleMania 32 won’t be Undertaker’s last WrestleMania. Apparently there is still gas left in his tank and thankfully for us, his last match won’t be against Strowman.
