If 2015 is anything to go by, it has been a social media revolution for the WWE. Controversies have caught up with them in some way or the other. Roman Reigns’ victory at the Royal Rumble, Rollins’ social media accounts being interfered with and Darren Young’s comments on the Abu Dhabi tour. This week, social media did sprout up more discussions and moments. But all of that, it seems, will be towards a better WWE. This week has been more of a positive one. Here are the newsworthy stars of the week.

#3 Stephanie McMahon and Triple H

Being virtually called out on the gender inequality in her own company wasnt the only time McMahon was involved in some newsworthy moment.

Just a few hours ago, it was announced that McMahon and Triple H will be elected to WWEs Board of Directors.

If last years Wrestlemania was a sign of WWE investing more in its future, the preparations were kickstared with Rollins and Ambrose main eventing Hell In A Cell in a match card that featured Cena VS Orton.

Then came Ambrose VS Wyatt main eventiung TLC and Reigns victory in the Royal Rumble.

And now, things are more clear than ever with Stephanie and Triple H taking more matter into their hands.

#2 Seth Rollins

Jon Stewart and Rollins have been involved in some light banter over the past two weeks and it only seemed perfect to see them meet face to face and so it happened.

Rollins made an appearance on the Daily Show and hence made matters more clear than ever. This is a feud that might just put Stewart into the Hall of fame one day. This may or may not be a joke.

Rollins invited Stewart to Raw before putting him in a headlock.

#1 AJ Lee

Arguably, the biggest newsworthy star of the week.

AJ Lee created quite the stir when she took on Stephanie McMahon’s comments on patricia Arquette’s Oscar speech. Mcmahon congratulated and thanks Arquette for her win and speech against gender inequality.

Lee remarked that despite record merchandise sales and highest rated segments, the women in the WWE get only a fraction of the money and screen time that men in the company get.

Reports say that Mcmahon was furious and only wrote a diplomatic tweet following the order of her father.

AJ Lee used her voice and may have just sort of initiated a change.
