Brock Lesnar stood tall despite being outnumbered

There was plenty of action at the Forum in Inglewood, California, which was the venue of Brock Lesnar’s return to action against WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with the United States title at stake – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.

Lesnar, who was accompanied into the ring by WWE creative genius Paul Heyman, began strongly with three German suplexes directed at Alberto Del Rio, but it was the latter who took control after Lesnar rammed into a post.

The brawl carried on for a few more minutes before Rusev entered the ring only to be fought off by Lesnar who inflicted a German suplex and an F5 on him. Lesnar, obviously not content with the DQ win, proceeded to hit Del Rio with an F5, though Del Rio retained his title.

Judging by the crowd’s reactions, it’s safe to say that the event was a huge hit.
