WWE superstar John Cena is reported to star in a TV series. Cena will collaborate with Leftfield Pictures, producers of Pawn Stars, to make a show in which unknown individuals from different walks of life narrate their own unique stories.

Cena revealed to Variety magazine:

“For someone like me that’s surrounded by so many interesting characters, you know when you brush up against someone who can hold a room. There are so many people out there who can hold someone’s attention.”

The newseries launch will not require Cena to be on TV but he will be seen on screen somehow. Cena and Leftfield have a lot of ideas lined up for the series, as part of the research and development deal. The series will be produced separately from the WWE’s contract of Cena but WWE does have an authority to step in his project if it will help their concepts.

The 37-year-old wrestler has previosly featured in films like The Marine, 12 Rounds and Legendary and also made appearances on Tv in shows MADtv, Deal or No Deal, Saturday Night Live, Punk’d and Psych.
