A WWE Superstar recently shared a massive and unbelievable throwback from 16 years ago.

The star in question is MVP or Montel Vontavious Porter, who has been a former two-time United States Champion and a one-time Tag Team Champion with Matt Hardy.

Before Hardy and MVP teamed up to capture the tag team titles, the two men were at odds. Porter and the current AEW star were slated for a boxing bout at Saturday Night's Main Event 2007 because of their bad blood.

However, because the former US Champion stated he couldn't compete due to heart issues, boxing icon Evander Holyfield stepped in. The boxing legend, in the second round, wanted the referee to stop the fight because Matt Hardy had eaten a lot of shots from Holyfield and couldn't stand up.

A moment of regret took place when MVP came into the ring and put his hands on the boxing icon before getting knocked out in the middle of the ring.

The 49-year-old star took to Instagram and shared a throwback video from 2007. The former US Champion flaunted that he was introduced by Michael Buffer at Madison Square Garden and also got the chance to share the ring with Holyfield.

"That time I was introduced by the legendary Michael Buffer at Madison Square Garden before I beat Matt Hardy in a boxing match and then knocked out Evander Holyfield for being disrespectful. Yeah. That actually happened. I swear on all the gods," Porter wrote.
