"What the hell happened to you?" - Drew McIntyre roasts 5-time English champion at WWE Live event

Drew McIntyre trolls 5-time English champion at a WWE live event in London.
Drew McIntyre is signed to WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre has been a menace on the microphone since turning heel. At a recent WWE Live event, he roasted a five-time English champion who was in attendance with his family.

Despite reports of The Scottish Warrior suffering from an elbow injury, he worked on WWE's recent tour of the United Kingdom. He faced off against Jey Uso in London on April 19, 2024, with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney sitting in the front row.

McIntyre pointed out that he was the same age as Rooney but was wondering what had happened to him. He made fun of The Wazza for looking older than his age.

"Aren't we the same age? What the hell happened to you?" McIntyre asked as Rooney smiled and laughed.

Wayne Rooney won five English Premier League titles with Manchester United. He also secured a Champions League trophy with The Red Devils. He became a manager after retiring from football, but he has arguably not had much success in that department.

Rooney was recently fired by Birmingham City for winning just two matches in 15 games in charge.

Drew McIntyre lost to Jey Uso four times during WWE UK Tour

WWE went to four cities in the United Kingdom for the company's latest tour of live events. They visited Birmingham, England, on April 17, Cardiff, Wales on April 18, London, England on April 19, and Belfast, Northern Ireland on April 20.

Drew McIntyre wrestled at all four live events despite having a hyperextended elbow. He faced Jey Uso, who is the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, every night and lost via pinfall.

Uso will challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash France next month. Priest won the title at WrestleMania XL from Drew McIntyre using his Money in the Bank briefcase. CM Punk attacked the Scotsman after he had enough of his taunting.

The Scottish Warrior had a chance to become the number one contender for the gold following 'Mania but Punk interfered to cost him the match, which Jey won.
