Coming straight out of Money In The Bank pay-per-view, the WWE appears to be facing an uphill task to renew its storylines involving top superstars.
WWE as it occurs has run short of baby faces and has accumulated a lot of heels in its roster. One of its top heels, Bray Wyatt was also seeming to have run short of opponents to renew his rivalries with other than John Cena.
This is one of the reasons why Chris Jericho was brought back on Raw and immediately was attacked by the Wyatt Family.
Heading into Battleground and SummerSlam, WWE needs to also look upon its top heel Brock Lesnar, who has a confirmed opponent in Cena for SummerSlam.
Other than Cena, WWE seems to be reaching a standstill on its baby faces. This is one of the primary reasons why it is not turning Sheamus and is majorly concerned about Daniel Bryan’s momentum upon his return.
On the road to MITB, WWE was banking on the WWE World Title Ladder Match. This bet however has turned against the company, as fans have praised the traditional MITB Ladder Match over the former.
