Things not looking bright for Daniel Bryan, Updates on Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami

Bryan may not be able to wrestle again

The latest on the health of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is that, while no time frame for return has been decided both by the WWE or doctors, things aren’t looking good. WWE is silent on the matter and looks like Bryan is expected to remain out of action “for a long time” and there is a possibility of him not returning at all. As of May 18, 2015, there is nothing definite about his status medically.

Regarding Hideo Itami’s injury, word is that it was a fluke. Triple H during his conference call to promote NXT Takeover: Unstoppable acknowledged Itami’s injury while nothing that the wrestler would be on the show in some capacity, but not actually wrestling. It’s said that Itami’s injury was a fluke situation of wear and tear, which is said to be an issue troubling WWE these days among many of the wrestlers.

In case of Sami Zayn, the latest update suggests that he has been medically cleared to return and he did face Kevin Owens on the NXT special this Wednesday. Despite that its being said that he would be requiring a shoulder surgery early next month, although nothing is being confirmed.

Zayn injured his shoulder during his “Monday Night Raw” singles match debut while answering to John Cena’s United States Championship Open Challenge during the May 4 edition of Raw in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
