- According to the Wrestling Observer the reason why the Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) are getting an immediate push is because The Usos are essentially out of action. Obviously with Jey Uso undergoing shoulder surgery, they cannot team up for several months.
WWE needed a babyface team to feud with ?Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, but the majority of the teams are heel. Thus the Lucha Dragons have been pushed sooner than planned. Jimmy Uso will likely still do some stuff with Naomi.
- It’s believed that AJ Lee was originally supposed to be in the position of turning on Paige, but since she has retired Naomi was given the spot. This means either WWE had these plans ready for a long time, or Lee’s retirement was a spur of the moment decision.
