WWE Wrestlemania 32 (2016) Rumours: A list of rumours that might come true

Return in the books?

It's just a matter of hours before we embark on yet another WrestleMania journey. With this year's pay-per-view sure to be the biggest WrestleMania till date, the rumors were fledging even at this final hour. The success story of NXT Takeover and the Hall of Fame ceremony has served as a fuel for the same and according to the rumors, we are bound to witness some major twists at the event.

John Cena, who was present during the Hall of Fame ceremony, could have a surprise for us in store. A big return from a former WWE star was also a talking point in the rumor mills.

Here is a look at the WrestleMania 2016 rumors that might come true.

Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon closing the show

Shane could close the show

The pressure on WWE is immense when it comes to WrestleMania and if that was not enough, they are having troubles dealing with the Roman Reigns situation. Although Reigns is supposed to be a babyface who will get cheered after his match with Triple H, the current situation points to it not happening.

He is going to get showered with jeers if he wins and closing the show with such a negative energy is not something that WWE would want.

To avoid the same, WWE would be closing the show with Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon, which is a highly anticipated match on the WrestleMania card. It is a real possibility considering WWE's desperation.

Surprise return and interference

Cesaro might make a return

The Andre the Giant Battle Royal could see a big return as WWE is planning to bring back Cesaro. Cesaro is scheduled to be part of WWE's WrestleMania revenge tour and if the rumors are right, the surprise return at WrestleMania will work out well.

Braun Strowman is the current favorite to win the Battle Royal and the Wyatt Family is expected to have a huge role in the match.

Apart from this, the faction could have a say in the Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar match as well. WWE has plans of having a Bray Wyatt - Brock Lesnar feud after WrestleMania and this could benefit Ambrose, who might get a win due to interference.

Heel turn from Roman Reigns

Bad guy Reigns

The problem of Roman Reigns needs to be addressed without a doubt and WWE could be considering a heel turn from Reigns for the same. The fans at this moment are loving every bit of the to jeering directed towards the Samoan Superman, which is apparently what heel characters want.

A heel turn from Reigns could open up a string of possibilities.

Reigns could align with Vince McMahon and in the process, turn Triple H a baby face. Reigns being the heel champion under Vince would make a lot of sense and will be a compelling storyline. Bring back a baby face Seth Rollins under Triple H and we have a block buster feud in our hands.

The John Cena appearance

Medically cleared

The rumor mill suggests that John Cena is medically cleared to compete in the ring. Earlier, it was noted that Cena would be out till July, but the latest rumors suggest something entirely different.

WWE is apparently having plans to book Cena vs. Undertaker for WrestleMania 33 and from the looks of it, WrestleMania 32 will serve as the show for setting this match up.

Cena is likely to interfere in the Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon Hell in a Cell match, which would be the much-rumored big twist at WrestleMania. Cena refused to comment about his appearance at WrestleMania and this has boosted the said rumors.

The return of Goldberg

Goldberg might make history at WM 32

A wild rumor about Goldberg's return to WWE surfaced out of nowhere this past week. According to them, WWE has sorted out the problems they had with Goldberg and he is all set to make a huge return at WrestleMania 32.

There is, however, no talk about how WWE would be using Goldberg even if he is making an appearance.

Also, Goldberg might not get a full-fledged wrestling role if the scenario happens. Big names like Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and a few others are also scheduled for the show and an interaction between these legends could be an ideal slot for Goldberg to make his return.
