The poster boy of WWE for the past decade, John Cena goes up against the leader of the wyatt clan, Bray Wyatt, on April 6th, in what should be an intriguing contest . Cena comes in as the veteran face to take on a very weird and entertaining Wyatt. Bray Wyatt has gone from one strength to another in the debut year that he has had. From the win against Kane back last year, to beating Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble, Bray has stepped up his game.

Next up for him would be John Cena. A future Hall of Famer and the money making boy of WWE is sure to impose himself on the upcoming Wyatt. Cena has received a lot of mixed reactions from the WWE universe, with the kids being firmly behind Cena. Cena should come in as the crowd favorite, but it would be Bray’s antics and his performance which might steal the show. After the terrific match that Bray had at Royal Rumble, a win against Cena in any form would surely cement him as a main event draw.

Build up:

The build up has been very solid which was expected from Cena and Bray, the two topmost workers on the mic in WWE currently. WWE has been hinting of the match since Bray interfered twice to cost Cena the Championship since January. But the angle really took off in the last month after the Shield ended their rivalry with the Wyatts.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan played their parts as the muscle in the build up. Cena has had victories over the two followers of Wyatt, but has also been beaten up by them on more than one occasion.

A supposed injury at the hands of the Wyatts to Cena only added intrigue to the storyline. Cena has been repeatedly saying that this match is important for his legacy and the match is dedicated to his fans. Wyatt has been very weird all through, saying how Cena is a fake hero, and bringing home a very valid point. The match is sure to reach a well deserved climax at Mania.

Bray’s Strengths:

Bray is a brawler. He is big and strong. With the type of body he has, he is incredibly athletic. More than anything, the charisma that Bray portrays and the aura that surrounds him is also very intimidating to the opponent. His moves are physical and strong. He has improved a lot in the ring, with the matches against Bryan and Shield. The sister Abigail’s kiss, has proven to be a major weapon in his arsenal.

How Bray performs on the grandest stage of them all remains to be seen. His attitude would come in handy against Cena.

Cena’s Strengths:

Cena has performed in a number of main events at WrestleMania. He is a sure shot money drawing talent of WWE and should shine at WrestleMania too. His strength coupled with the moves are the main point of his performance. John Cena has been a reliable draw for WWE for quite some time. His mere inclusion in this match adds a lot of status to it.

Cena however come up against a younger and more inspired Bray Wyatt. Can the strong Cena match his opponents potential? It would be intriguing to watch.

Predictions:

Bray Wyatt should get a victory over John Cena at WrestleMania 30. Whether it would be a clean win or whether it would also have other wyatt members’ interference remains to be seen. But Bray does holds an edge over Cena currently and would gain a lot from this victory. Cena in turn would not lose much in defeat as he is way over with the fans as a wrestler.

Match Consequences:

A win over John Cena should make Bray Wyatt a top draw in the main event scene. Bray has a lot of potential and is a great microphone worker. The match itself should be top class. Both the competitors have put up some brilliant performances in the past and the same should be expected of them come this WrestleMania.
