Del Rio thankful for a second chance, The Ascension and the Miz on social media

Del Rio couldn't have asked for a better return

– The WWE pulled a rabbit out of the hat at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

John Cena was scheduled for his United States Championship open challenge and out came Zeb Colter to announce that his opponent would be Alberto Del Rio. It was rumoured that Del Rio might sign with the WWE after wrapping up his Lucha Underground Season 1 but his return came sooner than expected.

This was a huge surprise of the night and the fans welcomed Alberto Del Rio with open arms.

Del Rio, who has been a former Heavyweight Champion and a WWE Champion beat John Cena to snatch the US Title. Del Rio has had past differences with John Cena and left the company in 2014 after he slapped a WWE employee who had racist things to say about him.

He and Colter refused to comment after the match and it is unclear whether he will appear on RAW. Del Rio who controversially quit the WWE tweeted that he was grateful for the second chance.

– A lot of superstars have been promoting the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game. The latest of the lot are the rough and tough tag team of Viktor and Konnor, the Ascension. The Ascension were seen in a video clip tweeted by WWE 2K official twitter account. This is the video below.

– The Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia posted a photo on twitter with the ‘A-Lister’ the Miz. Soska Sisters who are film directors and producers teased in the post that they may sign the Miz for a slasher movie.

What if WWE isn’t using Miz to his fullest potential, the former WWE Champion knows how to keep himself busy.
