He’s not coming back to wrestle of course, but for fans that pre-order the WWE 2K17 set to be released on October 25th, they can avail him as a playable character. It has long been speculated, at least in fan circles, that Goldberg may one day return to the WWE.
Though always notorious for being an incredibly stiff worker, especially infamous for curtailing Bret Hart’s in-ring career, it would make little sense for the WWE to actually enlist the 49-year-old’s services in the ring.
Although for hardcore fans, the second best thing would be of course to use him as a playable character in the WWE 2K17 game that is slated for release later this year.
