WWE News: John Cena claims his "heart hurts", Brie Bella on staying in touch with Cena

Speaking to TMZ Sports, John Cena revealed that his heart hurts for Nikki Bella.

Additionally, per Entertainment Tonight Canada, Brie Bella spoke about staying in touch with Cena despite his separation from her sister Nikki Bella.

In case you didn’t know…

John Cena and Nikki Bella were in a relationship since 2012—most of which has been documented on the reality shows, Total Divas and Total Bellas.

Cena and Nikki got engaged at WrestleMania 33 in April of last year, and had their wedding scheduled for May 5th, 2018—however, the couple recently announced their separation.

The heart of the matter

John Cena spoke to TMZ Sports about his breakup with Nikki Bella; stating—

"It's a tough time but that's life…We all go through highs and we all go through lows. I'm gonna get through it. I love her. I'll always love her.”

"The fact that my heart hurts for her ... I know I was in love. So, I'll always have that."

Brie Bella spoke to ET Canada about John Cena & Nikki Bella ending their relationship; asserting that in the latest season of Total Bellas, fans will see a lot of intimate conversations between Cena & Nikki, as well as what led to the decision she made and where she’s at today.

Brie added that she applauds Cena & Nikki for the decision they made, as it takes a lot of courage. Brie continued that she’s still in touch with Cena via text message, and Nikki is fine with the fact that Brie wants to be there for John as much as she’s there for her sister, through this breakup.

Furthermore, Brie emphasized that the breakup has been really hard, akin to like losing a family member since Cena has been with them for 6 years—
