In an interview with Access, John Cena addressed his separation from Nikki Bella.

Cena asserted that he still loves Nikki Bella, besides adding that he isn’t doing well after their split. Cena also briefly spoke about the challenges of living life in the public eye.

In case you didn’t know…

John Cena and Nikki Bella were in a relationship since 2012.

Cena proposed marriage to Nikki at WrestleMania 33 last year, and the couple got engaged at the event in front of thousands of WWE fans.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that John Cena and Nikki Bella were set to tie the knot this May 5th, however, their wedding was called off, and the couple announced their separation on social media.

Cena addressed his separation from Nikki; stating—

"I'm not doing well…I love Nicole, and we're not together."

"On many occasions, that's what living your life in the public eye is, you have to take the good with the bad…The thing about doing these (events) is everybody's like, 'oh life's great, you're doing all this stuff.' Everybody's got problems…It sucks, I love her and I missed her, and that's that.”
