RAW ended with Daniel Bryan flat on his back after Orton’s assault. But this wasn’t enough for Orton as he came back to punish Bryan more after RAW went off air.
Orton started attacking Bryan again, but Punk ran in to make the save. Axel and Ryback then ran in and started beating up Punk.
Dolph Ziggler and the Usos then ran in and saved Punk from an assault. Punk the fought back and hit the second GTS of the night on Axel as the heels were forced to retreat with the babyfaces rejoicing. So much to send the fans home happy.
Bryan’s beatdown this week makes it pretty clear that he will most likely be the champion after Battleground.
