Reports: What's stopping Batista from returning? Update on Daniel Bryan's return

Batista caught in the middle of two careers

After the success of Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Marvel Studios are considering to renew Batista’s contract and offer him a substantial pay rise.

The contract will also tie him down for several other Marvel ventures including part two of Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers 3 movie where he will have a major role to play.

Although that movie has a long way to go since the second part is slated to come out in May, 2015, this contract reconstruction will certainly mean that Batista’s WWE career will be secondary to his movie career.

PWInsider reports that people in Hollywood do not want him to return to pro-wrestling at all. They are unhappy over the fact that Batista did not get what he was promised when he returned and that WWE dropped the ball by not letting him use some of his own ideas to get himself over.

Although The Animal shares the same feeling, he has shown the urge to return to the company. Batista is said to have other movie offers coming in and he reportedly received a substantial deal to star in the Kickboxer remake with UFC star Georges St. Pierre.

Elsewhere, Daniel Bryan is expected to return before the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November and WWE are hoping that he makes it in time to appear at the specials.

However, they are also aware of the fact that he can aggravate the injury and are cautious on not rushing his return.
