Dolph Ziggler‘s having an extremely difficult time handling his ex-girlfriend AJ. She, along with Big E, has already cost him the chance of winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and as if that wasn’t enough, AJ is coming back for more. Big E looks more actively involved in this feud with Ziggler, who is trying his best to take out the powerhouse.
Big E got the upper hand this week in his match against Ziggler, courtesy distraction caused by AJ and her rival Kaitlyn. With a Miz TV segment between the four, expecting all of them to be involved in a match isn’t a surprise. The spotlight will be more on Ziggler and Big E, as these two will battle it out to exert dominance in the roster.
Both the wrestlers have a lot at stake in this match, as the result could elevate them to a new high in the roster. AJ too needs her character to gain some momentum as she looks like the best hope now for the Divas division.
Here are a few possibilities that we can expect out of this feud.
1. Ziggler manages to shrug off AJ and Big E
This is by far the most obvious result and the most sought by fans around. We all know the amount of effort Ziggler puts in during a match and the kind of workhorse that he is. It is also clear that he has come a long way to getting close to a title shot and being denied due to the wrath of some crazy woman seemed ridiculous in the beginning. But WWE wanted to go ahead with this feud mainly because Ziggler wasn’t over as a face, which also explains the delay.
Ziggler could beat Langston despite the difference in size and power. The fact that Ziggler is a former World Champion is reason enough to justify his win over Langston. Ziggler’s win over Langston will surely propel him quite high in the roster as a face and now that he has garnered some support, he can find ways to challenge the title again.
2. Big E Langston leaves AJ
We all know how crazy AJ can get and for the past few weeks things have been pretty bad for her. Though we are not sure what Big E’s relationship with AJ is, there is only a certain extent to which a person can handle craziness of this extent.
The same can be said of Big E, who could reach his critical point and feel that he’s had enough. After spending months with her, Big E can finally feel that the time has come for him to move on to better things. The problem however is that if Big E splits up with AJ, it will affect his heel status, especially when WWE is in need for strong monster heels.
3. Ziggler finds a partner in Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn showed concern for Ziggler after she messed up his match by attacking AJ, and their match at SummerSlam could be the start of something interesting.
AJ would go berserk if her ex-boyfriend was in a relationship with her arch-rival. Things could get heated if AJ tries her best to separate the two. But the relationship could be short-lived, as a long-term storyline could affect both wrestlers.
