Dax Harwood and Jungle Boy started the match on AEW Dynamite, with Jungle Boy using his agility to get the better of Harwood. Cash Wheeler tried to interfere, but Jungle Boy locked him in a submission on the outside. However, an underhanded tactic used by Tully Blanchard allowed Harwood to find his way back into the bout.
Blanchard was tagged in, and the veteran teased hitting a suicide dive. He looked in good physical condition and kept the risk factor to the bare minimum.
Back from the break, Wheeler and Jungle Boy were in the ring. Both down and out, somehow managed to tag their partners in. Luchasaurus hit a Double Suplex on FTR, and then followed it with a failed chokeslam attempt. Wheeler took down Luchasauar on the outside leaving Jungle Boy to deal with all three on his own.
Marko Stunt showed up out of nowhere and took out Wheeler. However, Blanchard took him down with a Slingshot Suplex. Luchasauarus then took down Blanchard with a Superkick.
An unidentified man in black on the outside assisted the heel trio to secure the victory. The masked man came into the ring and revealed himself to be Shawn Spears, Blanchard's former client. They indicated that this was the reformation of the Four Horsemen as Arn Anderson came out to acknowledge them.

Toni Schiavone came out next and introduced AEW's newest signee, Paul Wight on AEW Dynamite. The former WWE Superstar asked fans whether anyone saw this turn coming. He then praised AEW's upcoming show Dark: Elevation, and said he was excited about the prospect of working alongside Toni in the commentary box.
Wight then teased AEW's latest Hall of Fame-worthy signing that would be revealed during this Sunday's Revolution pay-per-view. Another reason to tune into the loaded event.
