Hangman Page (C) vs Bryan Danielson [AEW World Championship match continued...]
Danielson rolled out of the ring for some respite on AEW Winter Is Coming but Hangman Page didn't let up the pressure, hitting a tope suicida. The champ then headed up to the top rope and followed it up with an Orihara Moonsault to the floor.
Back in the ring, Danielson tried to lock in the Labelle Lock but Hangman turned it into a roll-up for a two-count.
Danielson wrenched Hangman's ankle and followed it up with a boot across the chest. The challenger then hit a running boot in the corner, looking to follow up with a second.
Hangman Page caught him in midair and hit a powerbomb. The AEW Champion then looked to set up for the Buckshot Lariat but Danielson rolled out of the ring.
The Champion made a major strategic mistake at this point. He headed to the top rope to set up another moonsault but Danielson had it scouted. Page took too long to get to the top rope and Danielson pushed him off, with Page landing on the apron with a thud.
Bryan then sent the champion shoulder-first into the ring post. The champ was busted open at this point as we cut to commercial.
