Hangman Page (C) vs Bryan Danielson [AEW World Championship match continued...]

Bryan Danielson was in complete control at this point on AEW Dynamite. The champ fought back by working on Danielson's knee. Back out to ringside, Hangman Page exposed the guardrail and booted Danielson's knee against it. Hangman continued to punish Bryan's knee, sending it crashing into the ring post.

More back and forth ensued between both men. Danielson tried to get the champ to submit again but Page reached the bottom rope. Danielson continued to dominate as we edged closer to the 60-minute mark. Hangman then hit Danielson with a Deadeye on the apron.

The champion made another major strategic mistake at this point. With Bryan reeling at ringside, Hangman launched himself off the top turnbuckle and ended up going through the ring announcer's table. Danielson then exposed the floor at one point by removing the padding and hit Hangman with a DDT.

Danielson went for a suplex but Hangman landed on his feet and wiped out Bryan with a lariat. Hangman and Danielson traded strikes and then traded roll-ups.

More back and forth ensued between Champion and Challenger. Danielson then started to viciously stomp Page who hit back with a Deadeye. Another nearfall.

Page then got in stomps of his own. Hangman went for the Buckshot Lariat but Bryan Danielson countered it into the Labelle Lock. Hangman Page broke free and finally hit the Buckshot Lariat.

The Champ followed it up with a second Buckshot Lariat but the bell rang as he went for the cover. After 60 minutes of wrestling, the match ended in a time limit draw.

Result: Time limit draw

Grade: A

The bout set the record for the longest match in AEW history so far.
