AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge, will defend his title in a 'Cope Open' on Dynamite next Wednesday and it seems his challenger might have been revealed during the episode of Collision this week.

Adam Copeland is bringing back the Cope Open on Dynamite next Wednesday from Winnipeg. Taking notice of the challenge, the House of Black accepted it in a backstage promo. Although the group did not directly reveal who would be going head-to-head with Copeland, it seems the challenger was accidentally revealed in the promo.

While addressing The Rated-R Superstar's challenge, Malakai Black stated either Brody King or Buddy Matthews could challenge for the TNT Championship next Wednesday. However, Matthews mentioned Winnipeg in the promo, saying, "You'll find out, when the rest of the world finds out," which could be a hint that Buddy is Copeland's challenger on Dynamite.

This will be a chance for Adam Copeland to seek revenge after suffering a defeat at the hands of the House of Black at the AEW Dynasty 2024 Pay-Per-View. Henceforth, it remains to be seen if The Rated-R Superstar's title challenger on Dynamite turns out to be Buddy Matthews.
