AEW has seemingly dropped a major hint on who Ricochet's next opponent could be, setting up a major re-match after nearly seven years. The latter is none other than Will Ospreay.

The Aerial Assassin dethroned AEW American Champion MJF at All In 2024 to restore the latter's belt as the International Championship. The blockbuster pay-per-view from last month also witnessed the much-anticipated debut of Ricochet as a participant in the Casino Gauntlet Match.
The One and Only made his Dynamite debut a few days later by beating Kyle Fletcher. After his win over The Protostar, Ricochet would be confronted by his former rival Will Ospreay. However, the latter was taken out by his All Out 2024 challenger, PAC, on the entrance stage before Ospreay could speak.

Ospreay retained the AEW International Title in the Now Arena at All Out against The Man That Gravity Forgot after an unforgettable contest. It was revealed on camera that Ricochet was watching the bout backstage.
The Human Highlight Reel also had a tense confrontation with Ospreay after the Englishman challenged the former WWE Superstar to step up during a post-match backstage interview, teasing the prospect of an imminent in-ring clash between the two for the first time since 2017.

It remains to be seen where and when the two world-class high-flyers will square off in All Elite Wrestling.
