Current AEW World Champion Samoa Joe is one of the most popular stars in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Hence, fans wondered why he wasn't in the AEW Fight Forever video game. In a recent social media post, AEW Games confirmed that The Samoan Submission Machine would be a part of the game.

The Fight Forever game has met with a lot of criticism from many ever since its release. The developers have tried to improve and stabilize the performance of the game and add stars like Claudio Castagnoli, HOOK, and Keith Lee as a part of the DLC. The game is available on Playstation, XBOX, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

On Twitter/X, AEW Games announced that reigning world champion Samoa Joe will officially be added to Fight Forever as part of the DLC available on May 8th.

"Destruction, devastation, chaos. Are you prepared for war? Season four is almost upon us, and you can step into the ring with #AEW World Champion Samoa Joe on May 8th with the World War Joe DLC!" the post read.

Dutch Mantell reveals he got heat for AEW star Samoa Joe's TNA promo

WWE veteran Dutch Mantell was a part of TNA from 2003 to 2009 as a producer and as a member of the creative team. Mantell recently disclosed a decision involving Samoa Joe that led to backlash from TNA management. Joe made a name for himself in the promotion during the early 2000s and is a former TNA World Champion.

Speaking on Storytime with Dutch Mantell, the veteran manager revealed he told Joe to cut a promo about leaving TNA if he was unable to win the World Title, which allegedly got him heat from management.

"When they [TNA management] heard that, they went nuts. 'Why did you tell him to say that?' I said, 'Wait a minute, isn't he winning?' 'Well yeah, he's winning, but why did he say that?' I said, 'Well, because he'll keep the promise!' People say, 'If I don't win, I'm leaving,' and now the people really want him to win, and when he wins like he predicted that he would win, now he's over more with them," Mantell recalled.
