Tony Khan made headlines this week after he was attacked by his own employees on AEW Dynamite. The All Elite Wrestling president was part of a shocking segment to close last Wednesday's show, and an update on his status is set to air on tonight's episode of Collision.

Jack Perry returned to the Jacksonville-based promotion at last week's Dynasty pay-per-view, where he aided The Young Bucks in capturing the AEW World Tag Team Championship for the third time. The Scapegoat then appeared on the most recent episode of Dynamite and asked Khan to reinstate him after his long suspension.

For a brief moment, it seemed that Khan and Perry had mended fences, but the latter shockingly attacked his boss in the show's final segment. The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada then ran out to put a stop to it, only for Matthew and Nicholas Jackson to hit the AEW President with a Tony Khan Driver.

Khan was seen wearing a neck brace at the NFL Draft this week, and he addressed the incident in an interview for NFL Network. With fans wondering what will happen next, AEW has announced that an update on Tony Khan's medical condition will air on Saturday Night Collision.

Tonight's episode of AEW Collision is set to air directly after the NBA clash between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat.

Thunder Rosa says Tony Khan collapsed backstage after the attack

Fans were shocked by The Elite's attack on Tony Khan last Wednesday, but the company's other talents were also at a loss. The locker room emptied at the end of the show, with several AEW stars coming to their boss's aid. However, the damage was already done.

Thunder Rosa recently revealed what happened after the attack. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the former AEW Women's World Champion claimed that Tony collapsed in the doctor's office after he was helped to the back.

"For me, it was really funny. I was not expecting it. I was there when this happened, and I was in shock. I was in the doctor’s room when he was brought into the doctor’s room. Tony Khan collapsed in the doctor’s office after what just happened with The Elite. Also, another thing with that The Elite, people were hating them a lot, but I think there’s now a real reason to hate them. The storyline makes sense, and I think a lot of the stuff that was questionable was after that video, where it [was] like, where’s this gonna go? Well, now I know where it’s gonna go. They’re against the boss," Rosa said.

As of now, it seems that the villainous Young Bucks have seized control of All Elite Wrestling. But whether the EVPs can maintain their hold on it after Tony Khan recovers remains to be seen.
