Earlier tonight at AEW Dynasty, Bryan Danielson had an injury scare following his match. The promotion shared exclusive footage of what happened backstage after the medical team escorted him.

Tonight, The American Dragon faced Will Ospreay in a hard-hitting encounter. Both men proved why this was a dream match and gave everyone a run for their money. However, towards the finish, The Aerial Assassin used a controversial move on Bryan.

He hit him with the Tiger Driver 91, a move that has been labeled as unsafe, and Danielson landed on his head. He was seen clutching his head after the move, and the referee called for the ringside doctor. Ospreay did not notice and continued attacking, hitting his Hidden Blade finisher for the win.

Post-match, the medical team checked on Bryan Danielson before eventually bringing him backstage. AEW released the footage which showed ringside doctor Michael Sampson and Ospreay helping move Bryan to the infirmary before he was laid on the medical bed and checked by doctors.

The former WWE Superstar was seen to be clearly in pain with a worried Will Ospreay watching him from afar. It remains to be seen whether this could be kayfabe or a legitimate injury for The American Dragon.
