Mercedes Moné has been on fire since her WWE departure. She is the reigning AEW TBS Champion, the EWA Women's Champion, the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion, and the winner of the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup. She also held the NJPW Strong Women's Championship for many months until she was dethroned by AZM earlier this year.

Since Mercedes Moné won the coveted 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup, she will challenge AEW Women's World Champion "Timeless" Toni Storm for her title at All In 2025. The excitement and anticipation for this match are at their peak. Both competitors have an equal chance of creating history. However, if the former Sasha Banks wins this showdown, the internet wrestling community may go berserk.

The 33-year-old recently teased that she will perform an 'inverted 450 splash senton' at the upcoming pay-per-view. Mone's statement was a joke, and AEW star Turbo Floyd's response to it was even more hilarious. He declared that he was considering performing a "double axe handle from the second" at All In, which was a relatively simple move.

AEW star Deonna Purrazzo wants to battle Mercedes Moné in a submission match

Deonna Purrazzo's time in All Elite Wrestling has been bittersweet. Although she is immensely talented, her booking in the company has been underwhelming. Nevertheless, in a recent appearance on the Lightweights podcast, she expressed her desire to face The CEO in a submission match.

"A submission match [against] Mercedes Moné. I just think we’ve both, like, established careers on our submissions. Me with the Fujiwara, primarily in WWE with her with the Bank Statement," said Purrazzo. [H/T: PW Mania]

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Purrazzo in AEW. Hopefully, Tony Khan books her in high-profile matches this year.
