An AEW star has responded to some comparisons to WWE Superstar Tiffany Stratton in a fitting way.

The star in question is Mariah May, Toni Storm’s protege. When asked how it feels to be compared to WWE star Tiffany Stratton, the up-and-coming star said she doesn't mind the comparisons.

She was a guest on the Ring The Belle podcast when she spoke up and essentially praised Tiffany for all the great work she has done in a WWE ring.

“I don’t mind at all. I think Tiffany’s great, I think she’s a superstar. She’s great in the ring. I love her gears, I’m always like, ‘Yeah, that’s cute.’ Everyone will tag me on her pictures or tag her on my pictures. She’s a sweetheart, we spoken before. At the end of the day, there can be multiple blondes. We all love Barbie, we all love the divas. Me, Anna, and Julia were talking about this. We all love the divas and if you think about our age group, remember we came up on Total Divas and Nikki Bella and stuff, so yes, we’re going to look like Barbie dolls, but we’re also some of the greatest wrestlers,” May said. Mariah May on Nikki Bella revealing she almost reached out to AEW’s Tony Khan

Nikki Bella is a very popular name in the wrestling world. She and her sister Brie had a great career in WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer recently revealed that she almost reached out to Tony Khan so she could make her in-ring return.

She said she almost thought of doing it after seeing her former rival Mercedes Mone’s debut in AEW and how she cut a promo that inspired her. Mariah May noted that and took to Twitter to react to the news. She tagged Nikki Bella with an emoji of a waving hand.

If Nikki Bella does indeed make a move to AEW, it will be interesting to see how Mariah May reacts to it and what kind of matches the two might have.
