AEW tag team FTR has made history and achieved a massive feat. This is a one-of-a-kind achievement and definitely something that will not be repeated very often.

FTR is one of the most talked-about tag teams in the Jacksonville-based company. Not only have they made tag team wrestling popular in AEW, but they have also done so in WWE and various other promotions around the world. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are unique.

Given that they wrestled all around the world, they achieved a rare feat that a fan pointed out on X/Twitter. They became the first tag team to wrestle in Wembley Stadium, Arena Mexico, Tokyo Dome, and Madison Square Garden. Dax Harwood replied to the fan and said:

“Funny you bring this up [sic]. Cash and I were talking about this over tequila last week in my hotel room. Looking back over the last 11 years of FTR, this is one of the coolest accomplishments for us. Considering we’re the complete opposite of what a star in pro wrestling should be, we did alright for ourselves.”

Sandman is not a fan of AEW tag team FTR

FTR is a great tag team, and it is not often that one comes across someone who actually does not like them. However, that was not the case with former ECW star Sandman.

Speaking exclusively on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine, Sandman named a few favorites in the Jacksonville-based promotion, such as Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, and others, and admitted that apart from them, he didn't care much about All Elite Wrestling, especially FTR.

“Dude, here’s the thing. AEW, there are so many matches that are just the same. I can’t watch any FTR versus this tag team again. There are certain guys I love. I love [Jon] Moxley, love Kenny Omega, love [Kazuchika] Okada, Will Ospreay, and his buddy or whatever. Love that dude. But everybody else is like, meh. Do another 600 spots in this match and I’ll sit here and not care even more. WWE’s storyline is great. Even though they give you like 50% less wrestling than AEW does, there’s no comparison in the numbers,” he said.

It is interesting to see him say that about FTR. It is sure to elicit some sort of response from either of the two stars.
