Professional wrestling is one of the toughest sports, as wrestlers put their bodies through huge amounts of pain on a regular basis, but one AEW star wants to keep going through that ache when they are 80 years old!

The star in question is Skye Blue, one of the AEW roster's youngest members at just 23 years old. But despite her young age, she has made a huge impression on fans with big performances against Saraya, Jade Cargill, and Toni Storm.

During an interview with The Daily Star, Skye Blue highlighted a few things she wants to achieve in her career, including intergender matches, hardcore bouts, and even wrestling until she's a pensioner because she is, in her own words, a psycho.

"I'm a very chill human being. As long as I can do this for as long as physically possible, I want to be 80-years-old and still doing this because I'm psycho. I would definitely like to like break some of like the standards and the mould. I would love to have an intergender match on TV. I would love to do like a hardcore match on TV. I love doing hardcore matches even though I really shouldn't. But just something, you know, I want to show that the girls can do it too," said Skye Blue. [H/T Daily Star]

Skye also talked about her childhood, where she recalled wanting to wrestle in TLC matches after seeing them on TV, only for her mother to shoot down the idea, which only added more fuel to the fire of Blue's passion to one day be a wrestler."

"When I was in high school, there was a point where we lived with my grandpa for a little bit because he had just had a surgery and I would do my homework, whatever. There was a TLC match on the TV, and I was like, 'you know what, I'm gonna do this.' I remember my mom saying, 'no, you're not, you can't do that' and thinking 'cool, that's what I'm doing to prove you wrong now.' She's like my biggest supporter now and she is just like, 'yep, she had to prove me wrong. She had to be a smart and go do it.'" [H/T Daily Star]

Skye Blue has been splitting her time between AEW and Ring of Honor

Despite being in her early 20s, Skye Blue has already amassed an impressive following of loyal fans, who played a part in getting signed to AEW and making it on to All Elite Wrestling programming, to begin with back in 2021.

In recent months, Skye Blue has not only wrestled for AEW, but she has been a regular on Ring of Honor's new show, ROH on HonorClub, where on the May 11 edition, she had arguably the best match of her career.

Blue challenged Athena for the ROH Women's Championship in a hard-hitting match that may have seen the former Ember Moon retain her title. Still, it also saw a glimpse of what might be in Skye Blue's future: championship glory.
