A former WWE and AEW star recently made his debut on the independent circuit following his release from the Jacksonville-based company. This would also be his first match in almost a month after appearing for another major promotion. That would be Parker Boudreaux.

The 26-year-old star was released in early April 2024 after spending a decent time with the Jacksonville-based promotion. He was previously affiliated with The Trustbusters before eventually teaming up with Swerve Strickland as a member of the Mogul Affiliates. However, due to an injury in June 2023, Parker never got a chance to return to the Tony Khan-led promotion before his release.

Earlier tonight, Parker Boudreaux was at a Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) event in Palatka, Florida. He subbed in for Big Beef and was the one who faced Bryce Maddox instead. This was also his first match on the independent circuit.

"First independent match tonight CCW in Palatka, FL vs @TheBryceMaddox #BFD," Parker Boudreaux shared.

Check out his tweet below:

What the future has in store for the 26-year-old star remains to be seen.

Parker Boudreaux appeared for another major wrestling promotion before his AEW release

A few weeks before his release from AEW, Parker Boudreaux made a surprise appearance at a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide event, as he attacked Octagon Jr. out of nowhere. This would be his first appearance since he sustained an injury back in June 2023.

A few weeks after his AEW release, Parker returned to Mexico for the AAA TripleMania XXXII: Monterrey event, where he teamed up with QT Marshall, Sam Adonis, and Satnam Singh to defeat Laredo Kid, Murder Clown, Octagon Jr., and Psycho Clown in an eight-man tag team match.

This would also be Parker's first match in a year, with his last match being a tag team match alongside Swerve Strickland as they faced off against Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes, formerly known as Goldust, in a losing effort.

It remains to be seen what is next for Parker Boudreaux, seeing as he is yet to sign with a major promotion. He may also choose to continue to remain a free agent and keep making appearances for other major promotions.
