Benjamin was released by WWE last month, while Archer and Suzuki both compete for AEW, while making sporadic appearances for NJPW. The three of them were members of Suzuki-Gun at a point in their careers. The Murderhawk Monster and the Murder Grandpa were long-time members of the faction, while The Gold Standard briefly joined them, and was a member from 2013-2016.

An image of the three reuniting with one another surfaced on Twitter. Fans reactions were varied, and some liked the idea of possibly seeing him reunite with them in the ring instead.

Lance Archer previously ran into Shelton Benjamin after his release

A little more than two weeks ago, former WWE Superstars Lance Archer and Shelton Benjamin ran into each other while working out at the gym.

It seems that in his time away from competition, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has been keeping in shape, seeing as he still has a few months till his non-compete clause ends.

On Twitter, Lance Archer would post a video of himself at the gym. At a point in the video, Benjamin comes into the frame, and asks if he can get a workout in. Archer then makes a quick reference, as he says a few of the lyrics from Shelton's former theme song.

It will be interesting to see if this sighting of this random trio becomes a more common scene, should Shelton Benjamin go to AEW as the next phase of his wrestling career.
