Wrestling veteran Bully Ray recently talked about AEW teasing a major match involving Bobby Lashley and a former champion. The All Mighty has been one of the top stars in the company and has dominated the locker room since his arrival.

He recently locked eyes with Will Ospreay. On the recent edition of Fyter Fest, MJF targeted the former International Champion backstage.

While The Aerial Assassin was being interviewed backstage, Maxwell interrupted and suggested that the former shouldn't interfere between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. Tension rose between them before the Hurt Syndicate stopped their argument. However, before the Syndicate left, Bobby Lashley and Will Ospreay had a staredown of their own.

While speaking on Busted Open After Dark, Bully Ray said that he would like to see Bobby vs. Will. He also pointed out that he wants to see the two stars mix it up due to their different styles.

"Bobby was the last one to walk out. And Bobby and Will had, like a three second staredown. Just enough for me to go 'Oh, I'd love to see that.' See guys, styles make a fight. We've heard that forever in boxing, but that also is true for pro wrestling. You can only watch... an Ospreay vs. Ricochet match so many times, and I'm just using them because of the styles. It's the same style. And yes, it's fun to watch, but when you get complete opposite ends of the spectrum, that's when it gets real fun," he said. [H/T - WrestlingInc.]

Bully Ray criticizes AEW for Bobby Lashley's booking

Last week on Fyter Fest, The Hurt Syndicate was attacked by Mike Bailey, Komander, and Kevin Knight.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray claimed that he didn't buy the three high-flyers attacking Lashley and Benjamin.

"And Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin get in the ring - and Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey proceed to beat them down. Not beat them down, but you know… dropkick, dropkick, something here, something there. And they bumped out Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. Complete, total, utter bullsh*t," he said.

It will be interesting to see how The Hurt Syndicate deals with the trio this week when they clash in a Trios match.
