Jim Cornette is one of the most recognizable names in the world of professional wrestling. In the past, he was a booker, an agent, a commentator, a manager, and a promoter. He currently has a YouTube channel called Official Jim Cornette, where he talks about the modern-day wrestling industry.
Cornette is arguably one of AEW's biggest critics. On a recent episode of Jim Cornette's Drive-Thru, he was asked what he thought of Luchasaurus, aka Killswitch. The 63-year-old replied that the absent star should not come back because he was incapable of doing anything. He added that if the former AEW TNT Champion had any talent, he would have showcased it by now.
"If he does come back, I would suggest he leave again. Killswitch, dino douche, whatever. If he was [sic] capable of anything, we would have seen it by now. A long time before now. And the only thing he has ever done is gotten away," Cornette said. [From 6:55 to 7:20]
Killswitch is currently sidelined due to a medical condition, and it is unknown when the 40-year-old will make his comeback.
Jim Cornette feels Kazuchika Okada deserves to be fired
Cornette has been quite vocal about his displeasure with Kazuchika Okada's work in All Elite Wrestling. He thinks that the former NJPW star's run in the Jacksonville-based company has been boring and lazy, and he should be let go as soon as possible.
"This is the most boring, disappointing, sloppy, lazy, do-nothing mother-f***** that's ever walked in the face of a god da** wrestling ring. Please let me put this in god da** capitals. FIRE Okada," he said.
Kazuchika Okada is the reigning AEW Continental Champion. He will lock horns with AEW International Champion Kenny Omega in a Winner Takes All match at All In: Texas.
