A former WWE Divas Champion disclosed how she once called AEW star Bryan Danielson in a drunken state. The legend also recalled how The American Dragon reacted to her drunk call.
Brie Bella is known for her time in the Stamford-based promotion, where she also won the Divas Championship once. The WWE Hall of Famer last competed in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble Match.
Speaking on The Nikki and Brie Show recently, Brie Bella revealed her drunk call with Bryan Danielson. While Brie initially didn't admit to calling Bryan under the influence of alcohol at first, Nikki Bella reminded her of the existing records of the same on Total Divas, forcing her to admit she once FaceTimed her husband in a drunken state.

“So I never drunk call Bryan—‘cause I don’t,'' she said. ''Brie, we have [a] record of it on Total Divas, too. It’s been a long time," Nikki interrupted. "Or like drunk text him, because he just, you know, he doesn’t like drunk people. He doesn’t drink. I drunk FaceTimed Bryan, and I was like, ‘It’s your birthday,’ and I’m like, ‘Just, I wish I was there with you.’”
Brie further recalled how Danielson entertained the situation on the call:

Bryan Danielson's next appearance announced amid AEW absence
Bryan Danielson announced his full-time retirement from wrestling after losing the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024. He has not appeared as a part-time competitor on TV since then either.
Meanwhile, The American Dragon has been announced for a Starrcast meet-and-greet event during the AEW All In weekend on July 11 and 12 in Texas. Starrcast announced the same on its X account.
"He's a former AEW World Champion—and one of the most decorated wrestlers of all time! 'The American Dragon' is coming to Starrcast Texas July 11-12!"
Fans will have to wait and see if Danielson will appear at All In: Texas in some capacity.
