A popular AEW veteran reportedly became a free agent recently and the fans on the internet want to see him in WWE. Many are clamoring for the veteran to be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year.
The popular AEW star in question is Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust). Dustin has been with All Elite Wrestling ever since the company's inception in 2019. The 55-year-old legend has been active on the pro wrestling scene since the late 1980s. He has wrestled for major promotions like WWE, WCW, and NWA in his career.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Dustin Rhodes is now a free agent as his current contract with Tony Khan's promotion is up. The report of Dustin becoming a free agent led to speculation of him potentially leaving AEW and returning to WWE as well.

Fans on X (fka Twitter) reacted to the reports of Dustin Rhodes becoming a free agent as well. While many want to see Dustin getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2025, many want to see him alongside Cody Rhodes on TV as well:

Earlier this year, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes endorsed the idea of his brother and AEW veteran, Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust), being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Speaking on Rosenberg Wrestling, Cody stated the following when asked if Dustin should be a Hall of Famer:
"Yeah. I would certainly, even if he [Dustin Rhodes] didn't pick me, I would be so excited to be there. He obviously deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, and he meets the criteria to do so.''
Henceforth, amid his reported free agency, only time will tell if Dustin Rhodes will make his return to WWE and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
