AEW recently announced that Kenny Omega will return to the May 1 episode of Dynamite, which will take place in his hometown of Winnipeg, Canada. This marks Omega's first appearance after announcing his hiatus from the company last December due to diverticulitis.

During his absence, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson kicked him out of The Elite and joined forces with Kazuchika Okada and seemingly against Jack Perry.

The Cleaner, however, is keeping himself busy during his hiatus with his Twitch channel, The Cleaner's Corner. Recently, during one of his streams, the former IWGP World Champion had something interesting to tell about his upcoming appearance.

"I remember thinking about maybe, maybe showing up to Winnipeg. It was a maybe. And then I saw that my sister, my parents, my aunty who lives in Calgary who said ‘Oh my goodness we heard the big news.’ I was like ‘What big news?’ They were like ‘Yeah, the arena was advertising your return.’ And I thought ‘Come on, man I’m like 80% on board maybe, but I don’t know man.’ And I thought ‘Well, they advertised me. I guess that 80 becomes a 100.’ So, I called the boss and was like ‘Hey man, you wanna run a graphic or something, I guess I’ll show up," he said. [H/T Ringsidenews]

Omega is one of the most popular professional wrestlers, and fans will be waiting with bated breath for his return.

Kenny Omega drops hints at feuds that he might be part of in the future

Kenny Omega has been advertised for the May 1 episode of Dynamite, and things have changed dramatically since December when he stepped away from AEW Programming.

One of the most shocking changes is the EVPs, The Young Bucks allying with a returning Jack Perry to assault the AEW President, Tony Khan. Another important change is Swerve Strickland becoming the AEW Champion, winning the match against Samoa Joe at Dynasty.

During his Twitch stream, Kenny Omega was asked whether he had seen Dynasty pay-per-view. The Cleaner went on to drop hints about feuds that he could be part of in the future.

"Did I manage to see the Ospreay/Bryan match? Yes. I missed out on two matches in the pay-per-view... As a wrestling fan, someone who appreciates in-ring work at its finest level—that's the one... I was looking forward to Bryan [Danielson] and [Will] Ospreay, I was looking forward to The Bucks, EVPs, whatever, I guess, since they are. And I was very curious about Swerve [Strickland] and [Samoa] Joe. And the reason, aside from the fact that they were great matches, that sort of sets the tone for the foreseeable future of what I might be involved in. So, I actually wanted to pay attention to that," he said.

It remains to be seen what Kenny Omega is gearing up for once he returns to AEW.
