AEW is dealing with several injured stars on the road to All In: Texas, and one of its most exciting high flyers has now been pulled from an international show with partner promotion CMLL. The historic Mexican company issued a statement today on Komander's status.

Komander was rising through the ranks of AEW, but he was also active on the independent scene and in CMLL. Unfortunately, the masked star suffered an injury on June 9, and it's serious enough for him to be pulled from both All Elite Wrestling and its partner promotion.

The 26-year-old was scheduled to compete for the CMLL World Trios Championship in the main event of Fantastica Mania Mexico 2025, set to be held on June 20 in Arena Mexico. CMLL revealed via a statement today that he is unable to compete due to injury, and the match will be rescheduled for a later date.

Fantastica Mania Mexico will feature major stars from All Elite Wrestling, such as Ricochet, Thunder Rosa, and Hologram. It will also feature NJPW stalwarts Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, and Yota Tsuji alongside CMLL's biggest names.

Komander was pulled from AEW Summer Blockbuster last week

Fans first got wind of Komander's injury when he was pulled from a big match at AEW Summer Blockbuster. The masked star was set to team with Jet Speed (Speedball Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) against The Hurt Syndicate, but Komander was unable to compete.

He did show up at the venue, but Tony Khan wrote him off television with a vicious attack from The Hurt Syndicate at the start of the show.

It's an unfortunate turn of events, with Forbidden Door season nearly upon us. All Elite Wrestling is also heading to Mexico City for a massive Grand Slam show this week, but it looks like Komander will have to sit the event out.
