Fans requested WWE to hire a former AEW star and add them to the Wyatt Sicks faction with Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis. The stable has a mysterious and frightening element. Similar to these five characters, Abadon is also known for their unique appearance and characteristics.

The 33-year-old star has been known for one of the most unique gimmicks. They joined AEW in 2020 and received a substantial push in the early months of their tenure. However, they were quickly lost in the shuffle and were rarely featured on TV since 2023. Their last match took place at Worlds End, where they lost to Julia Hart.

After working in the promotion for five years, the Living Dead Girl has announced their departure from the Jacksonville-based promotion. They recently took to social media to claim that they are a free agent and are open to further bookings.

"Tomorrow is my last day. It's bitter sweet. Im excited to wrestle. Everyone, everywhere. Let's get spooky," they wrote.

Wrestling veteran Konnan talks about Abadon's AEW run

The Living Dead Girl was a significant presence in AEW during the pandemic era. However, as time passed, their popularity waned.

While speaking on Keeping It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan claimed that Abadon received an early push but didn't get over with the crowd.

"Number one, the girl never really got over. They pushed her hard at the beginning, okay, and, bro, that's what happens there, and I say it all the time; some people say, 'Oh, I'm getting paid!' Yeah, but your stock is also going down," he said.

It will be interesting to see where the 33-year-old star will land.
