Since its inception, AEW has emerged as one of the most popular North American wrestling companies. It currently has three television programs: Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision.
Many names have been associated with the company since its inception, often referred to as the 'Originals.' One of them is The Butcher, who is also known as Andy Williams. He is best known for his alliance with The Blade (Jesse Guilmette). Collectively, this tag team is known as The Butcher and The Blade. Williams recently completed five years in the Jacksonville-based promotion. To celebrate the occasion, he released a statement on X (fka Twitter) yesterday.
He said that his character has seen various changes since signing with All Elite Wrestling. However, he thanked the promotion for allowing him to do whatever he wanted to.
"Yesterday was 5 yrs with @aew for me. I feel like I’ve lived 50 lives since then. Monocle, pants sash, long hair, tassels, fat, shredded, bald, Malenko trunks, bunk house Butch, white clothes,..etc. Now I’m rampage man or something. Love what this company has allowed me to do," said Williams.
AEW star The Butcher was the guitarist of a metalcore band
The Butcher, aka. Andy Williams, was the guitarist of Every Time I Die, a metalcore band from Buffalo, New York. The band has reportedly released nine full-length studio albums, and the AEW star has played in all of them.
Every Time I Die's lineup has changed several times. However, its final lineup included Keith Buckley, Jordan Buckley, Andy Williams, Stephen Micciche, and Clayton "Goose" Holyoak. Some of their most popular albums are Last Night in Town, New Junk Aesthetic, Gutter Phenomenon, From Parts Unknown, The Big Dirty, and more.
Every Time I Die was formed in 1998. In January 2022, they announced they broke up after canceling a UK tour.
