A certain WWE Hall of Famer recently talked about how during his time with the company, he felt that there was a chance that Triple H did not believe he was important to them. This would be Rob Van Dam.
RVD has had several stints with the company, appearing in WCW, WWF, ECW, and WWE alike. In between these stints, he has also gone on to compete for TNA. Despite already being inducted into the Hall of Fame, the veteran has yet to retire from the industry, as he has made sporadic appearances for AEW.
During a recent edition of his 1 of a Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam reacted to statements from the likes of Ryback and Paul London who expressed how Triple H himself was the one who ended their creative pushes. The veteran talked about his case and how he felt that the WWE CCO did not think he was a good investment for them, as he would vote against his creative plans.
"I think professionally - I’m guessing, like I said, I don’t know. But there’s a good chance that professionally, he didn’t believe that I was a good investment for the company. And that’s based on hearing that he would vote ‘Thumbs down’ on some plans that were talked about for me. That’s based on a lot of hearsay. It’s based a little on some personal experience, that opinion. And when it comes to being jealous or not, I don’t know..."

He continued by talking about how some talent in the locker room would express that he deserved a push and how he was hindered by The Game.
"And so a lot of talent would say, ‘Man, that’s not fair. You should be the guy that’s getting pushed to the moon right now. And the reason you’re not is because his a** is in the office.’ And a lot of guys would look at them and say that’s because, ‘He’s jealous because he wants it done his way?’" [H/T - EWrestlingNews]
The veteran claimed Triple H could have been jealous of some WWE Superstars
During the same podcast, RVD talked about how Triple H was in an interesting position in WWE as at the time, he was both competing in-ring and working behind the scenes.
He felt that this could have been a hard position as he had an advantage over others, and members of the locker room ended up believing that their pushes were stopped because HHH was jealous and he was with Stephanie McMahon.
"Hunter was in a position where he's both office and at the same time, he's talent. So that's a hard position to be in as far as the others as if you have an unfair advantage of pushing yourself over them of getting ahead, maybe with less talent than would be required and to put the breaks on other people's pathways ... A lot of wrestlers will say the reason that they were stopped was because of Triple H because he was either jealous or just because he's with the boss's daughter." [H/T - Wrestling Inc]
At this point, The Game has ceased competing in-ring and has put his full focus on his role as WWE's Chief Content Officer, so instances like this may not be happening anymore.
