AEW star Will Ospreay impressed fans by countering an iconic wrestling move on the latest episode of Dynamite. The maneuver in question was the Giant Swing, a patented move by Claudio Castagnoli.

Ospreay took on The Swiss Superman in a one-on-one match, and both men showed off their athletic brilliance in an evenly matched, hard-hitting bout. At one point, Castagnoli attempted to execute the Giant Swing on Ospreay. The move won the 43-year-old star several victories over his career, including an ROH World Championship win over Chris Jericho at Final Battle 2022.

However, The Aerial Assassin deftly countered the Swing into a DDT in a rare and incredible reversal. Ospreay ended up scoring the pinfall with a Hidden Blade on Castagnoli for the win.

Ospreay's Don Callis Family stablemates Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher hit the ring to dish out a post-match beatdown on Castagnoli. This prompted Claudio's fellow BCC member, Jon Moxley, to make the save.

The newly crowned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion stormed the ring to take out The Don Callis Family, focusing especially on his opponent for next week, Powerhouse Hobbs. Moxley and Castagnoli fought off the heel faction and stood tall as Ospreay walked out.

Will Ospreay will take on Bryan Danielson in the inaugural edition of the upcoming pay-per-view, AEW Dynasty 2024.
