A certain WWE Hall of Famer has just talked about AEW's latest signing and the recent tease of a potential faction coming to the company. The Hall of Famer in question would be Booker T.

Last Wednesday, during Dynamite's 5th Anniversary special episode, Shelton Benjamin arrived as MVP's "business partner." This generated great reactions from those in attendance and on the internet. With Bobby Lashley reportedly signing with the company, this confirmed that the Hurt Syndicate was on its way to the promotion.

During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T reacted to Shelton's arrival at AEW and how the former Hurt Business could reunite over there. He was happy with Tony Khan's decision to bring in the trio, as he wanted to see them in the spotlight again.

"I want to see those guys come up. I don't want to see anybody out in the cold. I'm glad that Tony Khan pulled the trigger, got them all in to continue the Hurt Syndicate, whatever they're going to call themselves. I like it. I like it a lot."

However, the WWE veteran felt that they wouldn't be a completely dominant group like the nWo. He believed that other top names on the roster weren't going to like that, citing the Young Bucks as examples.

"I don't see AEW having a team that's just going to run roughshod like the nWo," he said. "That's because it's a lot of egos in the that company. Just say for instance, the Hurt Syndicate feuding with the Young Bucks. That's not going to happen, the Young Bucks, they got stroke... they're not just going to be run over or anything like that." Former WWE Superstar says the Hurt Syndicate could be AEW's version of The Bloodline

A certain former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was also intrigued with the idea of the Hurt Syndicate coming to AEW. This would be Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler).

During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Nemeth talked about how the faction could be at the same level as The Bloodline. He mentioned how this was in terms of them having great storylines, promos, and being dominant in the ring. He felt that this could end up being something very special for them.

"[MVP's new AEW stable] could be a version of the Bloodline, of just totally dominating but having great stories and having great interviews and promos and then backing it up with the work behind it... There could be something very special for this faction. It could be the new thing that sets them apart," said Nemeth. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

At this point, fans will just have to wait to see when the former WWE faction will finally reunite and make their mark in AEW. With all three of the available members being on board now, the reunion seems imminent.
