Matt Hardy has made his first comments after returning to a major promotion. This is the company where he introduced a popular gimmick that took the pro wrestling world by storm.
The promotion that the WWE legend went back to is TNA Wrestling. He showed up at the 2024 Rebellion pay-per-view and attacked World Champion Moose. Hardy blindsided the 39-year-old and hit him with a Twist of Fate.
He has now taken to Twitter to send a resounding message to his fans. Hardy wrote:
“The System must be #BROKEN! #Rebellion.”
Matt Hardy revealed a few weeks back that his AEW contract had expired and that he was officially a free agent. The former champion also said he was keeping his options open and speaking to several companies. Speculation grew that he would be going back to this old stomping ground to be a part of a developing storyline. However, that did not happen.
Since Hardy attacked TNA World Champion Moose upon his arrival, he will look to be involved in the main event scene and make the most of his time there.
