Following a long hiatus from the company, reports have surfaced regarding the status of a popular AEW star. It was mentioned that despite reaching out to them, the company has had no plans for him for some time now.
Danhausen can be considered one of the most unique characters within the promotion and a fan favorite, even becoming one of the biggest merchandise movers. He has not been seen within the company since the Zero Hour pre-show of the Worlds End pay-per-view in 2023.
The Very Nice Very Evil star's most recent appearance was for Ring of Honor back in December, as he made a brief appearance at Final Battle to take out MxM Collection and help Atlantis Jr. with his win that night. Fightful Select has just reported that he reached out to AEW following that night, but the company had no plans to bring him back on TV at the time. That is still the case today.

The AEW star has hinted at wanting to work with R-Truth
One of the biggest topics to start the month was WWE not renewing R-Truth's contract, thus ending his long tenure with the company. He received an overwhelming show of support from everyone in the wrestling industry.
Danhausen took to X/Twitter at the time to hint at wanting to work with R-Truth in the future. It seems he has already thought of a duo name for them. If this had become a reality, it would have been an interesting merging of two unique personas.
