Dustin Rhodes once kissed a former WWE World Champion's wife in AEW. This incident occurred during the company's early years in the business.
AEW was launched in 2019, and its early days were marked by several compelling storylines that captivated the audience. One of those storylines was between the Nightmare Family and the Inner Circle, during which Dustin Rhodes and Jake Hager had their mini feud going on, as they were the two biggest men in their respective factions.
Hence, Jake Hager and Dustin squared off in a singles match at AEW Revolution 2020. Hager brought his wife to the show, who was seated ringside to watch her husband's bout. During the contest, The Natural found himself outside the ring, and Jake's wife, who was at ringside, was mouthing off to the WWE legend before attempting to slap him. The former Goldust stopped her hand and then planted a kiss on her, which left her in disgust.

In the end, the former World Heavyweight Champion had the last laugh as he won the bout. This was the first and last singles match between them in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Dustin Rhodes opened up about getting fired from WCW
Before Dustin Rhodes became Goldust in WWE, he wrestled for WCW in the early '90s. However, he was fired from the company before his career could take off due to him blading on TV despite allegedly being told not to.
Dustin Rhodes opened up about his WCW firing on social media, claiming that he was given permission to bleed by Craig Leathers. He recalled that Hulk Hogan also bled on the same pay-per-view but wasn't fired. The veteran further claimed that he was fired to make way for Hogan and his boys.
"Eric Bischoff was speaking on my firing of WCW about bleeding. Number 1, and this will be talked about in my book at length, I reached out beforehand to Craig Leathers and was told we could. I would never disobey what my boss says. 2, why did Hogan bleed on that same ppv but it was ok. Need to get your facts straight. I lost my job and they did not. You know why? Cause Hogan and his boys had just arrived and they needed to clear out a few contracts."
