#2 Should NOT win: Cody Rhodes losing can open doors for Sammy vs Miro again
Cody Rhodes has had major success ever since he joined AEW, but so has Sammy Guevera. It would not be an overstatement to call Guevara's victory over Miro his greatest win to date in AEW. The homegrown AEW star was a clear underdog in the TNT Championship title match against God's Favorite Champion. A huge chunk of the match consisted of Sammy trying to survive against Miro's raw power. It was only at a later stage that the Spanish God was able to overcome his adversary to snatch the title win. The victory was big enough that several wrestlers made their way to the ring as confetti fell from the rafters to celebrate.
Miro would love to renew their feud and take back the title. However, Cody Rhodes winning could possibly mean the end of these plans. If Sammy wins the upcoming title match to retain his belt, Miro could make a comeback to revive his rivalry against the Spanish God. Fans would love to see him fight against Guevara again.

#1 Should win: Cody Rhodes winning with a dirty move will cement his much needed turn to heel
The AEW audience has virtually been begging for Cody Rhodes's heel turn recently. the American Nightmare, on the other hand, has been adamant about remaining a face. Everything about Cody, right from his generous use of pyrotechnics during his entrance to his attempt at hyping the crowds every chance he can get, is directed to him being perceived as a hero.
The feud against Andrade El Idolo had the audience booing Cody Rhodes instead of the heel. The fans even threw Cody's belt back during his whole belt throwing gimmick once, which screamed at how much they disliked the American Nightmare. A heel turn is pretty much his only option right now.
Cody Rhodes becoming a heel could be cemented in his match against Sammy Guevara. A dirty move to win the TNT Championship title would be a perfect way for Rhodes to become a villain in the AEW industry.
