Given the sheer length of the Naruto and the Boruto series, fans have been introduced to a ton of characters. One of the main reasons why fans enjoy watching Boruto is because of the fact that some of the characters from the prequel continue to receive screen time in this series.

There are some characters who were quite eccentric or even caused trouble to a lot of people in the sequel. But there seems to be a clear change in their behavior and their attitudes.

Some Naruto characters who have undergone a change in their attitude and behavior in Boruto

1) Naruto

Naruto was a big troublemaker who constantly plotted against Sasuke and the rest of his peers. He was always trying to cause trouble to those around him. However, when he became the Hokage, he certainly toned down his tendencies to prank people and became quite serious.

Being in the position made him become a serious person and prioritized the village’s well-being and safety.

2) Konohamaru

Konohamaru was another troublemaker who followed Naruto’s footsteps. He constantly pranked his grandfather, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and also gave a lot of trouble to the academy teachers.

He constantly performed the s*xy jutsu in the presence of his teachers which isn’t the kind of behavior one would expect from a young child. However, he changed quite a bit in Boruto since he matured and is now a responsible young man. He was also responsible for teaching Boruto the Rasengan.

3) Rock Lee

Rock Lee was one of those characters that had too much energy to expel in the Naruto series. Rock Lee and Guy were extremely serious shinobis who only cared about training and getting stronger. Sometimes, that would translate to overzealous behavior.

But, Rock Lee certainly becomes calmer in the Boruto series. He is not only a responsible adult, he is also a father. His seriousness while teaching his son about the Eight Gates can be looked at as an example.

4) Choji

Choji was someone who was quite sensitive about his weight. He didn’t like anyone calling him fat and he wouldn’t think twice before picking a fight.

However, he certainly matured in the Boruto series and since he’s a father, he has to be a role model to his daughter as well. That being said, his competitive nature never left him and he doesn’t back off from a challenge.

5) Kiba

Kiba didn’t particularly cause trouble, but sometimes he got a little carried during fights. He was always ready for a challenge and didn’t back down when someone provoked him in the Naruto series.

However, he left all that behind him and now has a new life. He is a local celebrity and even takes care of training dogs. He also became a Ninken dog breeder as well. This was certainly a considerable change for Kiba.

6) Orochimaru

Orochimaru spent most of Naruto Shippuden plotting some devious plan or the other. He was obsessed with gaining knowledge about some of the most powerful forbidden jutsus. However, in the sequel, one would argue that Orochimaru is the best dad in the series.

He genuinely cares about Mitsuki and ensured that he grew up in a manner that allowed him to forge his own path. It is surprising to see Orochimaru behave the way he did in the series.

7) Sakura

Given how annoying Naruto was when Sakura was around, fans often found her either yelling at him or beating him up to a pulp. However, things are quite different in Boruto.

Naruto wasn’t as annoying anymore and even Sakura was quite mature at that point. But that doesn’t mean one can mess with her because her raw physical power is high enough to scare the likes of the Seventh Hokage himself.
