Embers chapter 19, titled All According to Plan, revealed a flashback of Nerima and Oshimi as the player revealed how he sought an adventure after playing football was becoming boring and too predictable for him.

The manga chapter then saw Yuzen Nerima lose the ball once again to Haitani. This development saw Nerima become furious and desperately try to win back the ball. Amidst this, Yuga Takami again placed a shot from an impossible angle.

While for a second it seemed like Kurobayashi was safe due to the ball hitting the crossbar, Noboru Haitani headed in the rebound.

Embers chapter 20 will likely see Yuzen Nerima share a conversation with Noboru Haitani. As the Kurobayashi ace had previously underestimated Haitani, he might finally acknowledge him in the next chapter. Additionally, Kosei High's win also means that Haitani won against Oshimi. Hence, Haitani could share an exchange with his former sensei as well.

Lastly, fans can expect to see the Kosei team go out to celebrate their win against Kurobayashi and analyze what they must do to win their next match. With that, fans can also expect to learn about their next opponents.
